An odyssey of noise, each creator on equal ground.

It might be useful to pause for a few seconds/minutes of intermission after each disc finishes.

Disc 1: Tracks 1-15
Extremely volatile, constantly exploding in intense, noisy outbursts, occasionally leaving space to think. Unpredictable. Each track is a leap from the previous. Quite the cocktail to kick off the release.

Disc 2: Tracks 16-27
Starts where disc 1 left off. This disc develops ideas a lot slower, making careful use of drones. After an initial explosion in sound, followed by a few smaller explosions, ambiences replaces the atmosphere. Something isn't right, however. The storm hasn't yet passed, we are simply in the eye of it. Intense drones build up to a fantastical outburst closing the second disc on an abrupt note.

Disc 3: Tracks 28-38
After the intense explosions of disc 2, this disc acts as a sort of aftermath. Quite a bit more hopeful and relaxed, disc 3 provides a well-earned reward after trekking through the intense minefields that are the first two discs.

i have never experienced once in my lifetime an album of this nature that at times can have me close to tears in its use of samples and melodies, staplez in particular continues to shock and impress me due to its constant frantic nature, jumping in sample use from bogdan raczynski to blown out gabber kicks. another thing is its similarity to the late works of toecutter, in this case perhaps a bit more fast-paced and obscure, but regardless can never be matched. absolute beauty of an album..
